About
I'm an AI / LLM software engineer — I build agents, RAG systems, and the operational layer that keeps them honest in production. These days I'm also building a company in that space.
About the name: it's a typo I adopted. I went to type TensorFlow and out came tensorOwl — a tensor-flavoured owl. It stuck. Owls keep odd hours, watch quietly, and don't say much until it matters; close enough.
I didn't come from computer science. I graduated from National Taiwan University in political science, then changed careers into software and taught myself to code. That switch was genuinely hard, and I haven't forgotten it.
So this site has two purposes: sharing what I'm learning in AI and engineering, and being honest about the career change itself. Switching fields is genuinely painful — I went through it — and if writing any of this down makes someone else's jump a little less lonely, that's the point.
Say hello
I'm open to coffee chats — switching fields or just want to talk shop, reach out. Code's on GitHub, I'm on LinkedIn, or email me at levi@tensorowl.dev.
